If Catholics had been listening as early as the 1970s, when Roe v. Wade passed the Supreme Court, and if the hierarchy in the States had not been stuck in the 1930s of false ecumenism, and if the Catholic schools of America and England were really Catholic, we would not have lost the culture wars.
One article from the group I am highlighting here, refers to the NEETS, the term coined by the United Kingdom government that describes youth between the ages 16 through 24 who are “Not in Education, Employment, or Training.”

But, one good thing of being on the defensive, which I warned against months ago as a dangerous mind-set, is that it makes one face priorities. These youth must face things their parents did not need to face. In the fact that their lifestyle is already less prosperous than their parents, they can be more free to choose a spiritual life.
Things which were important are no longer so.
We have won the war, but lost some battles. Or, to be exact, Christ Our Lord has won the war, through His Passion, Death and Resurrection.
I am encouraged by the Millennial Generation of Catholic Youth. The NEETS are not the only voice or presence in that generation. Far from it. I see committed youth, committed to Christ and His Mother, giving themselves in celibacy, even in lay religious organizations, for the Kingdom of God.
Here are some links to encourage you. These youth know what they want and they are
pursuing the Kingdom of God. Take time to read these articles and take a look at this group, which I have highlighted before, and hi to my friends in Eire.

Dear STM,
I hope you see this, as it is now a little past its sell by date, but in a December post you said you would post more explaining your thoughts on TFP. That would be very welcome if you would do so.
Thanks for this great blog.
Woody, do not worry. I have been in many places without regular internet connections or none at all, so I have been able to access the information needed. Will do in the near future.
