Can one develop allergies? I have been most of my adult life allergic, seriously so, to the Cucurbitaceae family of plants, but recently, as in the past year, I have developed a strong allergy to vinegar, including balsamic vinegar, and most recently, chocolate of all kinds.
I think God is simplifying my diet, but these allergies will definitely keep me out of another monastery. Sniff....
