On hell again....and mediocrity

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states: "The teaching of the Church affirms the existence of hell and its eternity. Immediately after death the souls of those who die in a state of mortal sin descend into hell, where they suffer the punishments of hell, ‘eternal fire.’ The chief punishment of hell is eternal separation from God, in whom alone man can possess the life and happiness for which he was created and for which he longs" CCC 1035.

I am discovering that not only do New Agers, Mormons, Unitarians, Christians Scientists, and atheists do not believe in hell, but many Catholics do not as well. In fact, I find it very odd that some charismatics, who go around sending devils out of people, supposedly, do not believe in hell. Where do they think these demons, who they claim to exorcise, go?

Astounding that so many Catholics tolerate sin and refuse to speak the truth to their own children, young or grown up.

Sad.

And, priests who do not preach hell may find themselves severely judged by God for souls lost to mediocrity.
