Our Lady of Victory, Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.

Our Lady of Damasucus, pray for us.

On the weekend, I hope to get to Divine Liturgy at the Greek Catholic Church of Our Lady of Damascus in Valletta. I shall keep you posted on this.

The story of Our Lady of Damascus may be found here: http://greekcatholicmalta.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/11/Story-of-the-icon-of-our-Lady-of-Damascus-by-Fr-Vito-Borgia.pdf

Please take time to read this pdf, as it is appropriate for our times. The icon has been in Malta since 1530 and is in the style of Our Lady of Tenderness. And here is a bit on the bells of Malta from a talented person who puts these on YouTube. Our Lady of Damascus in on YouTube, with a video on the inside, but I cannot get it on the blog, for some reason. You can try here.

Here are some others in the series.

I hope to see it soon. As a member of the Third Order of the Society of The Most Sorrowful Mother, I especially want to visit this Church and see this icon.

Here is more about the church..http://greekcatholicmalta.com/about-church/church-history/

These bells are one reason I love Valletta so much.
