Notice-It's All About Sex Part Two

To knowingly reject the Church's teaching on remarriage after divorce without annulment, same-sex unions, and contraception is to put one's soul in the very possible position of damnation.

Many saints, including Teresa of Avila, Theresa of Lisieux, Jacinta and Francisco of Fatima, among others, saw people going to hell, "like leaves falling from trees in Autumn" or "like snowflakes" falling in Winter.

Therese the Little Flower claimed that it was shown to her that all the people in hell had sinned against the Sixth Commandment.

Sex, again, seems to be the huge stumbling block for the pursuit of holiness.

From the works of St. Therese:

"Celine, during the short moments that remain to us, let us not lose our time . . . let us save souls . . . souls are being lost like flakes of snow, and Jesus weeps, and. . . we are thinking of our sorrow without consoling our fiancĂ© . . . Oh Celeine, let us live for souls."

That hell holds many who died unrepentant regarding sexual sins should make us weep. And, to know that there are some Cardinals who allow people to die in such a state of sin, and worse, that of sacrilege, should cause us to weep.

What one can say to those caught up in sexual sin is that the breaking away of these bad relationships is purgatory on earth. But, without such suffering and purgation, one will not get to heaven.

Here is the Little Flower on this point and I share this for all those in sinful marriages or same sex relationships:

"You are not sufficiently trusting, you fear God too much. I assure you that this grieves Him. Do not be afraid of going to purgatory because of its pain, but rather long not to go there because this pleases God who imposes this expiation so regretfully. From the moment that you try to please Him in all things, if you have the unshakable confidence that He will purify you at every instant in His love and will leave in you no trace of sin, be very sure that you will not go to purgatory."
"O, how you hurt me, how greatly you injure the good God when you believe you are going to purgatory. For one who loves there can be no purgatory.
It is a question of switching one's focus of love.
Does one love a person more than God?
Repent.
Does one love companionship more than God?
Repent.
Does one love financial security and a home more than God?
Repent.
Does one's desires to be in love, to love, and to receive human love push God's love aside?
Repent. Many will pray for you.
One will not hear these things from some Cardinals, so the laity must repeat the words of Christ.

2 Corinthians 12:9New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition

...but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.”  So, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
