Mantra

I know Catholics who believe the politicians and pundits who say that the extremism has nothing to do with Islam.

Intelligent Catholics....who seem to me to be in denial. They are under the effects of the mantra.

But, the mantra has been so obvious since the shootings in France, echoed by almost all leaders of nations and even churches, I am beginning to wonder who is telling those people what to say and when?

By definition, a mantra does not have to be rational or make sense. All a mantra does is to create a false spiritual or psychological sense of well-being and peace.

The mantra which I call the Om of the Religion of Peace seems too obvious, too orchestrated.

A mantra can be totally meaningless but if said over and over and over, some type of chemical reaction in the brain begins to react soporifically. If one says or hears something over and over and over again, one begins to believe this in this utterance.

So, who is telling the leaders to repeat this mantra, from France, to England, to Ireland, to America, to Canada, to Japan, to Australia?

Who? Here is an example from wiki, which overlaps the Om I have identified....but this will not "work" out into any reality. Mantras cannot create real peace, only Christ can and does.

"Om! Let the Studies that we together undertake be effulgent;
"Let there be no Animosity amongst us;
"Om! Peace, Peace, Peace.
