A Few Thoughts on The Presentation of Mary

The first church dedicated to Mary's Presentation was in Jersusalem by 543. It was destroyed by the invasions, but the Eastern Church kept the feast as one of their twelve major feasts from the 8th Century. The universal Church has kept this feast from the 17th Century.
