Temperatures
It is -3 at my home; -1 at one of my friend's house; 2 at another place with friends; 8 where my parents live.
All Fahrenheit readings. I cannot remember a late February this cold in over forty years.
It is 48 F in London and 46 F in Paris. Sigh....

One comment, not from the victims...Esther, 36, works at a nearby kosher supermarket. Unlike Meghnagi, she says the incident has affected her view of the neighbourhood. “Créteil is not what it used to be,” she says. “I don’t feel safe here, especially early in the morning when we open for business, or when it gets dark.”

She says she has asked her husband to stop wearing his kippah (or yarmulke, a traditional Jewish skullcap) out in public and no longer sends her son out to buy bread at the corner.

No one, including the bullied FCC chairman, Tom Wheeler, thought the agency would go this far. The big politicization came when President Obama in November demanded that the supposedly independent FCC apply the agency’s most extreme regulation to the Internet. A recent page-one Wall Street Journal story headlined “Net Neutrality: How White House Thwarted FCC Chief” documented “an unusual, secretive effort inside the White House . . . acting as a parallel version of the FCC itself.”
Supporters of Obamanet describe it as a counter to the broadband duopoly of cable and telecom companies. In reality, it gives duopolists another tool to block competition. Utility regulations let dominant companies complain that innovations from upstarts fail the “just and reasonable” test—as truly disruptive innovations often do.

Benefactors Needed
With the ending of the world as they knew it, these people only wanted food, water, weapons, shelter.
Beautiful gems may as well have been ugly rocks.
I think of the many people who, before the terrible event in the movie, would have spent thousands on jewels instead of on charity. I think of Mrs. Jeb Bush, who is acting like the wife of a dictator. What she spent in one store on stuff would buy a small house of prayer. But, then I do not like Bulgari jewelry.
I am still praying and asking for benefactors for the House of Adoration. Recently, a young deacon who will be ordained in a few months told me that America should be dotted with small, quiet, neighborhood adoration chapels. I agree with him 100%. That is my vision.
Christ for the remnant Church.....
Please pray about this.
All things start small, and some stay small, but some grow according to God's plan.

Conspiracy Tracking as A Cop-Out
OK. to set the record straight, I totally believe that the OWG is planned and coming.
However, I want to address Catholic conspiracies which take over people's imaginations and why these are dangerous to consider.
I have seen people obsessed with the Masonic conspiracies, Fatima conspiracies, or Vatican II conspiracies.
There is nothing wrong with being aware of history, however, to be eaten up with such not only is dangerous, but may indicate a sin of sloth.
One must be reaching out daily to those who need to be evangelized, to the lost, the hungry.
If the laity only look and read newspapers and books dealing with conspiracies, and want to blame these for all the troubles in the Church, these lay people are missing the boat.
Sin causes evil and sin causes groups to form who do conspire.
But, we should be concentrating on our own sin and our daily lives of prayer and work.
To be eaten up with conspiracies creates a mindset which takes attention away from daily examination of our own consciences and looks to blame others for evil.
Until we are saints, we all contribute to evil in the world in some way, however small. This is why working on the predominate faults is so important.
Perfection, interior life, charity...
God is about ready to take care of the biggies--He has, as I have said elsewhere. unleashed the dog from the chain for a time.
Get ready and help others get ready and set aside conspiracy hunting. We know what is out there.
