“When we fail to acknowledge as part of reality the worth of a poor person, a human embryo, a person with disabilities – to offer just a few examples – it becomes difficult to hear the cry of nature itself; everything is connected,” Pope Francis writes. “Christian thought sees human beings as possessing a particular dignity above other creatures; it thus inculcates esteem for each person and respect for others.”
The leader of the Catholic Church continues: “Since everything is interrelated, concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion. How can we genuinely teach the importance of concern for other vulnerable beings, however troublesome or inconvenient they may be, if we fail to protect a human embryo, even when its presence is uncomfortable and creates difficulties?”
“If personal and social sensitivity towards the acceptance of the new life is lost, then other forms of acceptance that are valuable for society also wither away,” he adds.
The papal encyclical is already drawing praise from pro-life leaders.

Environmental stewardship is central to the moral roots of our faith. Care for God’s creation is the responsibility of all human beings as outlined by our Holy Father in his encyclical “On Care for Our Common Home.” Pope Francis is calling for radical change to our “throwaway culture.”

Voris Great on The New Encyclical

If something is not on faith and morals, we do not have to hold it....such is the Infallibility Doctrine.

Join Me in Prayers Today

Some readers are feeling very isolated

We are the remnant.

Let us stop and pray for each other today.

Are you ready for a turning point in civilization?

Old Man Europe has been dying for a long time, since the breaking up of Christendom.

America's decay and death has happened quickly. The West cannot carry on living in the agonies of the death throes of nations which have abandon God and His Ways.

Mankind has seen negative and positive turning points before-from the various invasions from the East into the West, to the great battles of Tours, Vienna and Lepanto; from the wars created by the Protestant Revolt, to the Tridentine Reforms; from the Fall of Communism to the beginning of global anarchy.

But, is the Church ready, are ready for the next great negative turning point in the West, the loss of religious freedom and expression?

Pray, fast, reflect....prepare yourselves and your families.

Time is short.

Trust, the Highest Prayer

From Julian of Norwich,

Then the way we often prayer came into my mind and how, through lack of knowing and understanding the ways of love, we pester Him with petitions.

Then I saw truly that it gives more praise to God and more delight if we pray steadfast in love, trusting His goodness, clinging to Him by grace, then if we ask for everything our thoughts can name.

All our petitions fall short of God and are too small to be worthy of Him; and his goodness encompasses all the we can think to ask.

The best prayer is to rest in the goodness of God knowing that the goodness can reach right down to our lowest depths of need.
