I wonder how tall the models are? I'm petite, and if I wore long skirts like that I'd look like I was drowning in my clothes! I've found about mid-calf to be the right length for me.
I am short, 5 foot 4 inches and overweight as only the rich can diet.
I agree about the mid-calf, although I do have one really long skirt.
I love long black skirts which are very hard to find here in my price range, which is charity shop. Marks and Spencers before Christmas had long black skirts but I could not afford any-about 65 pounds--and now they are all gone. Many women like that look especially in the holidays.

You are right - good food is expensive and junk food is cheap. And then people wonder why the poor are overweight...
