The Pope of Prophecy, or But One?

The Vatican proclaimed the St. Malachy prophecies as forgeries, as these, for one thing, appeared four-hundred years after the death of the saint.
I do not believe these prophecies, but the Net is going wild again with speculation. However, all popes in this century have been in danger from terrorist attacks, from assassins. Nothing new there.
What makes this pope different is his own admission of not thinking he would be pope for long. He has been very, very brave in his travels, imo.
