A DIU is a very serious issue. I lost a kid to drunk driving and this actor should have to face the consequences. I don't see how fleeing one's charges makes one a hero.
I agree and totally sympathize with your loss. The point is that his sentence was changed only after he left France because of the ridiculous 70% tax law. If it was a fair sentence in the first place is a serious matter, but the change was political. That is wrong.
